Into the spoon

Into The Spoon’s baby food was born out of a desire to meet a need by creating a sustainable and ethical solution for infant feeding. The company is re-localizing the babyfood sector in a sustainable way, by making gourmet, certified organic, dietetically balanced baby food, carefully prepared with fresh fruit and vegetables. The recipes are validated by several independent laboratories to guarantee the total absence of harmful substances (such as pesticides). The textures of the meals stand out and are designed to evolve according to the real needs of the babies from the beginning of their food diversification. Into The Spoon’s solution is a return to taste, local products and respect for seasonality. The jars are pasteurised and can be found in the fresh produce section (vegetables) or in the baby section (fruit) in shops. They offer an exceptional taste quality and a more important nutritional contribution for the child. As far as possible, the team buys from Belgian producers, selected with great care and according to the principle of the short circuit: directly from the shovel to the spoon.

Into the Spoon is also a company that attaches great importance to social values, which is why the pots are produced in partnership with an adapted work company and a percentage of sales is donated to a child protection association in the form of pots.

Into the Spoon met Trividend, Credal and Lita.co. during its matchmaking session at Solifin. Following this session, Into the Spoon started a fundraising campaign on the crowdfunding platform Lita.co which allowed them to raise 147K€. The team then secured a credit line from Crédal and also obtained a €5,000 grant from Village Finance.
